Core Values & Beliefs

Centered on Jesus and the kingdom of God.

As part of the Vineyard family of churches, we are rooted in Scripture, shaped by worship, and committed to joining God's work in the world.

We hold to the historic Christian faith: one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; Jesus Christ crucified, risen, reigning, and returning; salvation by God's grace; the Holy Spirit present and active; Scripture as our authority; and the Church called to proclaim and demonstrate the good news of the kingdom.

Our Core Values

  • Partner with the Holy Spirit

We make room for God's presence and ask the Spirit to lead our worship, prayer, ministry, and daily life.

  • Experience and worship God

Worship is central to life in the Vineyard. We want people to know God personally, not only know about him.

  • Reconcile people and creation

Because Jesus is restoring what sin has divided, we pursue healing, peace, justice, and welcome across barriers.

  • Serve with compassion

We lean toward the poor, the hurting, the lonely, and the outsider with the mercy of Jesus.

  • Join God's mission in the world

We share the good news of Jesus in ways that make sense in our neighbourhoods and cultures, locally and globally.

Jesus is fully God and fully human, the Messiah who died for our sins, rose from the dead, and reigns as Lord.

The Spirit gives new life, forms us into the likeness of Jesus, and empowers ordinary people for worship, witness, healing, and service.

  • Scripture

The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice.

  • The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, called to live as a sign and servant of God's kingdom.

We live in hope of Christ's return, the resurrection, final judgment, and the renewal of all things.
